Ask for Help . . .

  • When you have a religious question you wish to discuss . . .ask the ministers
  • When you are facing a crisis of health in yourself or a loved one, or when caregiving has become a burden . . .ask the ministers or pastoral associates
  • When you are suffering from grief or loss; a death, a lost job, an empty nest, a relationship's end . . . ask the ministers or pastoral associates
  • When you enter the hospital or are aware of another member entering the hospital . . . ask the church office or ministers
  • If you are facing a long-term crisis and will need the help of lots of folks for several weeks or longer . . . ask the CARE Committee
  • If the delivery of a few home-cooked meals would ease a crisis . . . ask the CARE Committee
  • If things seem to have piled up on you, and you feel like you're losing it . . . ask the ministers or pastoral associate. If it's an emergency, call the ministers at home or call 911.
  • If you are wondering whether counseling would be beneficial for you but wonder who to go to . . . ask the ministers
  • If you need to blow off steam or get another perspective about a family or other problem . . . ask the ministers or pastoral associates
  • If you'd like a friendly visitor to check in with you or your family member . . . ask the pastoral associates
  • If someone in your family dies . . . call the ministers
  • If you are involved in a traumatic incident that just won't "go away" . . . call the ministers
  • If you've got a difficult medical appointment, court date or other situation to which you don't want to go alone . . . call the CARE Committee
  • If you don't know who to call and don't want to "bother" the ministers . . . call the church administrator; she'll know who you should call next, but please rest assured that the ministers want to be of help to you
